It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Merry Solstice and Happy Kwanzaa, or whatever special holiday you celebrate this season!
My husband Eric and I celebrated the Solstice last night by lighting a fire and lots of candles and sitting in the dark snuggled up together talking.
I woke up this morning before sunrise with the happy thought that each day will get progressively lighter for the next 6 months. I love this time of the year, when we gather together to celebrate and prepare ourselves for the year to come.
I love to take this time to reflect on the past year, how I’ve grown, where I made mis-steps, and what I’ve learned. I also like to reflect on what it felt like to be in my business in 2014, what I liked about that and what I would like to shift. Furthermore, I like to marinate in the inquiry of “what do I want to experience in my business in 2015” and it helps me step into business planning with a clear vision of what I want my business experience to feel like next year. Last year, my theme was to “Let Go and Say No” and to be far more strategic and intentional in my actions. This year I want it to be about “Leveraged Momentum” and it will be about building off the solid foundation I have already created in my business and creating momentum from there. I will do new things in my business next year, but many with existing Strategic Alliances or leveraging the expertise and content I’ve accumulated over the years. I also want to incorporate my new certification in the Archetype Alignment Grid into my content and programs. So there will be lots of new, cool things, but all leveraged momentum.
What experience do you want to create in your business in 2015? What did you learn about yourself and business in 2014 that will make 2015 even better? What will your theme be? I look forward to hear some of your insights and responses!
I hope that this time is magical for you and that you soak up all the beauty this season bestows! I am truly grateful to have such a wonderful following of amazing entrepreneurs in my community and look forward to serving you in 2015!
