Do you have a coach?

One of my clients, who works with small business owners, told me recently how pleasantly surprised one of her clients was when she revealed that she, too, had a business coach. She was so impressed that she was investing in her professional development.

But of course she does! Because my client totally gets the value of coaching – for herself, for her clients, and for anyone who wants to make a huge transformation in their life.

I have to laugh when I hear stories like this because as a coach myself, I am intimately familiar with how important it is to have a coach. I have three different coaches, after all! The energetic Universe knows that I value coaching, therefore I live in a world that responds to coaching as a valuable skill worth paying for.

The energy we put out into the world is the energy we receive back.

When we hire a coach, it shows that we believe in the power of coaching, that coaching is important and is worth the money. When we’re a professional coach and we don’t have a coach(s), it puts out a message that coaching is not important or worth the money.

I encourage you to think about these questions: Does your belief in coaching align with your actions? If not, what’s stopping you from hiring a coach? And how is that blockage manifesting itself in your own practice?
