How (and Why) to Create Savvy Strategic Alliances
When they are done right, Strategic Alliances are one of the fastest and best ways to create sustainable revenue in your business.
Coaches, in particular, tend to crave and enjoy collaboration, so Strategic Alliances in the coaching world can be a huge win-win, when they are successful.
However, choosing the right partnership is key.
90% of Strategic Alliances fail, meaning they don’t create the outcome each person wanted. This can happen for a variety of reasons.
The three most common reasons Strategic Alliances fail:
- The Strategic Alliances loved the experience of working together but they didn’t make much money through the collaboration,
- They had the same vision but when they started to work together, they realized they really wanted different things,
- Even though the partners had similar goals, their personalities clashed and they could not work with each other successfully.
So, how do you pick the right partner? How do you make sure you’re one of the 10% and not one of the 90%?
