Money is an Amplifier
What’s your relationship with money?
I’ve never met anyone who didn’t have some sort of saboteur when it comes to money, but money saboteurs come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. What message(s) does your money saboteur say to you?
Here’s the truth: if you have any semblance of fear about money running through your mind – even if you’re not consciously aware of it – your business will be affected. So getting clean and clear with your money saboteurs is key if you want your higher self to be running the show.
Fear around money is commonplace for entrepreneurs (heck, with pretty much everyone in our western society). People have all different types of financial fears, but an overwhelming issue I see come up with coaches time and time again is that they think if they start to make real money, it will change them, and not for the better.
They’re afraid that if they become wildly successful financially that they’ll become greedy and leave their values at the door. Because of this, their fear around money affects their ability to receive, charge what they’re worth, or even attract and retain clients. It’s time for a perspective change!
Here’s my message to you today: money is an amplifier.
If you live by and through your values, when you make money, those values will be amplified.
And yes, it can also amplify some not-so-savory parts of ourselves if we’re not conscious. But if you hold the values of giving back, generosity of spirit, and making a difference in the world, like many coaches do, money will definitely amplify the manifestation of those values. Pretty cool, eh?
Because money can amplify the not-so-great parts of ourselves, if you want to be wildly successful financially, it’s important to be clean with your money mindset. This requires mindfulness of the choices you make and noticing when your thoughts and actions are out of alignment with what you hold dear.
Remember, money is this neutral construct that we humans created and it’s not inherently a bad thing or a good thing. What you believe about money will prevail, so spend some time this week digging into your beliefs about money and how they propel you forward or hold you back. And dream into what is possible for you and the world when you start receiving the money you desire. As always, I would love to hear your thoughts!
With appreciation,
